Another Successfull Payment From MoneyBooker

I have received another payment from moneybooker in my Uttara Bank and this time i also got the full amount,no extra charges applied in this transaction as well.

I have sent 97.16 USD from my moneybooker and receive the same amount successfully with the rate of 1 usd=67.89 BDT.

In my previous post i have described about my withdrawal of 49.49 usd.

So it seems transaction in Uttara Bank is more profitable then the other banks where we need to go through the currency conversion from moneybooker and we lost a good amount of money as conversion charge.

My recent money transaction with MoneyBookers

MoneyBooker isn't a new term among the Bangladeshi freelancer. Many of us withdrawing our freelanced money through moneybooker. Recently I have withdrawn a little amount through it. This post is about some of the pros and cons of moneybooker transaction in Bangladesh.

Well it is a known issue, at present many of us have faced problem of moneybooker's over charged fees. I have talked many of the freelancer and became to know that they have faced the same issue. I found there are freelancer who has charged by the moneybooker 20 USD and when they query to moneybooker,they became to know that moneybooker has converted their USD to Euro,that's why they have cut 20 USD for the conversion charge. This problem is faced by the freelancer who used DBBL (Dutch Bangla Bank) for their moneybooker transaction. Now the question arises why moneybooker converted from USD to Euro? The answer i found when the local bank doesn't accept usd from moneybooker then they convert the money to euro and send to the local bank. In this process we loose the conversion fee+fee for the transaction.

So knowing all these issue i decided not to send my USD in DBBL. That's why i opened a bank account in Uttara Bank Ltd. and transfer 49.49 usd from moneybooker and i received 3244 BDT, so 1usd=65.5 BDT, which clearly indicate no conversion has been done through moneybooker.

I already transferred 100 usd more to the same bank,lets see what happens this time.

PTC সাইট নিয়ে কিছু কথা

PTC এর মানে হলো paid to click. অনেক এর কাছে এইসব সাইট এর কথা আগে বহু শুনেছি,কিন্তু শুধু ক্লিক করলেই টাকা পাওয়া যাবে এটাই বা কিভাবে বিশ্বাস করি। তাই কৌতুহল বশত এই ব্যাপার নিয়ে একটু ঘাটাঘাটি শুরু করলাম। প্রথমে bux.to নামে সাইট নিয়ে কিছুদিন খোজ নিলাম কিন্তু পরে দেখলাম ঐ সাইট আসলে একটা SCAM সাইট । ওনেক খোজার পর আমি যে সাইটটা পেলাম সেটা হলো http://www.onbux.com. এই সাইট এর রিভিউ দেখলাম বেশ ভাল আর সবচেয়ে মজার ব্যাপার হলো যে এখানে বাঙালিদের জন্য রয়েছে আলাদা ফোরাম। এই ফোরাম এ আপনি অনেক বাঙালি পাবেন যারা আপনাকে পরামর্শ দিয়ে সাহায্য করতে পারবে। আর হে এই সাইট থেকে অনেকে ইতিমধ্যে টাকাও পেয়েছে যার প্রমান আপনি সাইট এর বাঙালিদের ফোরাম এ গেলেই জানতে পারবেন।

আমার প্রথম ফ্রীল্যান্সিং কাজের অভিজ্ঞতা

ব্লগে এটা আমার প্রথম পোষ্ট।পেশায় আমি একজন সফ্টয়্যার ইন্জিনিয়ার। অনেক দিন থেকে ফ্রীল্যান্সিং কাজের কথা শুনে আসছিলাম, কিন্তু কিভাবে শুরু করবো বুঝতে পারছিলাম না। একদিন এক বন্ধুর কাছ থেকে www.freelancer.com এই সাইট এর লিন্ক পেলাম,তারপর রেজিঃ করলাম। এরপর শুরু করলাম বিড করা। প্রথম দিকে একটু হতাশ হয়ে পরেছিলাম কারন যখন আমি ৩০ টা প্রজেক্ট এ বিড করেও একটা বিড ও জিততে পারলাম না।কিন্তু আমি হাল ছারিনি। এরপর একদিন হঠাৎ করেই এক Client আমাকে তার প্রজেক্ট আমি কিভাবে করার প্ল্যান করেছি তা জানতে চায়।Client এর কাছ থেকে প্রথম mail পেয়ে খুশিতে মনটা ভরে গেলো। আমিও Client কে reply করলাম। Client এর ও আমার প্ল্যান পছন্দ হলো,ব্যস হয়ে গেলো ব্যাট এ বলে। কাজটা আমি পেয়ে গেলাম।কাজের payment তেমন বেশি ছিলোনা ( মাএ ৬০ ডলার) কিন্তু আমার আনন্দটা ছিলো অনেক অনেক বেশি।

এই ছিলো আমার প্রথম কাজের আভিজ্ঞতা। চাকরির পাশাপাশি ফ্রীল্যান্সিং কাজের মাধ্যমে এমনিভাবে আয় করা সম্ভব ঘরে বসেই।
